Quality control

Manufacturing quality control happens at the factory, before a product reaches anyone selling it. What a retailer controls is narrower: what it chooses to stock, whether listings describe products accurately, and what happens when something arrives wrong.

Any retailer describing factory-floor testing as its own process is describing someone else's work.
